It's NOT Business As Usual
You don't have to find the "home-run" stocks to become a millionaire while investing in the stock market. You just have to participate. According to Bottom Line Personal, September 2000, "You can do it [become a millionaire] by growing your money at 11% a year. That's what the S&P has returned each year, on average, since 1926." So why are so many people frightened about the future of the stock market? Are you one of those who wonder if you should move your investment money? Is the stock market currently a bargain hunters dream or is the worst yet to come? What should you do? Have things changed? Maybe it's not business as usual - at least not the way it has been. It's no wonder that many are frustrated and discouraged with their investment results. Many may have ignored the three components of investing: diversification, re-balancing and dollar cost averaging. For attaining the best performance with the most security, it may take all three. It's not magic…and it's not the "sissy formula" - as compared to the "hotshot" individual stock pickers of a year ago - many who lost their shirts. How many times have you heard someone ask, "So, what's your favorite stock right now?" If that question is asked once, it's too many times. It's equivalent to asking a doctor, "So, what's your favorite prescription?" If he answers, is that the doctor that you want to visit? Many firms provide investment models designed specifically for people of different ages, with different goals and different risk tolerances. They are managed and rebalanced automatically - a real comfort in today's market - and a truly professional way to invest. Do you want more information and examples that show the historical investment performance of professionally managed investment models? We here at JM GetMoore Insurace & Financial Services have some ideas regarding this subject.
